The Video Whisperer is getting its website streamlined and updated and it will be going live very shortly.
I produced three videos for the site itself, one for the home page and two for different categories of business videos.
I thought you might find the videos of interest for two reasons:
1) If you’re advising businesses to have video content on their sites, it’s good to practice what you preach! In this case I have a Home Page video welcoming people to the site and videos that appear on later key pages that describe the service they’ve just clicked on.
2) The videos reflect my own approach to effective corporate videos and a bit of how we go about it. This approach developed after years of doing perhaps a thousand interviews of all sorts across the world. (The first article I wrote on this subject could be of interest: Video Biographies )
To do these videos solo was an interesting and fun task. And, if you think I have a lot of experience in front of the camera, you’d be wrong. Oh, perhaps more than some people, but it’s only recently that I’ve been doing video tutorials and now, these ones. If they seem to come off ok (and I’m pretty pleased), it’s because I’m doing exactly what I’m talking about in terms of the best approach to obtaining great results from interviews….and that is, “get them to talk about what they are passionate about and the inhibitions will all fall away”.
You’re not crap behind the camera Gary, so that means you’ll do find in front of it if you’re talking about what you love! (see article on the Secret of Interviews–which I think you have!) Anyway, I’ll tell you all about the secrets behind the secret in a few days on the road to Scotland. Cheers!

Yes I already seen this from facebook. Very nicely done! Definitely need something like this on my own websites, but I’m crap in front of the camera😉!
